The Grinch is a fictional character created by Dr Seuss
for 3 – 10 years.
He first appeared as the main character in the 1957 children’s book, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
The Grinch has since become an icon of the Christmas Holidays, despite the character’s hatred of the season, and has appeared on various forms of memorabilia such as Christmas ornaments, plush dolls, and various clothing items.
Although the animated film and all subsequent visual media depict the Grinch as green with creme colored eyes, in the original Seuss book he, like everything else, is printed in black, white, and shades of red. He lives in an isolated cave near Whoville, the town in which the original story takes place. His only companion is his faithful dog, Max. He despises the Christmas holiday because his heart is “two sizes too small”, and hatches a plan to steal the Whos’ Christmas gifts and decorations, an act for which he disguises himself in a Santa suit.
The Grinch is up to his old tricks again, this time he is back in town to try and ruin Christmas once and for all. But with the help of some of our special Christmas fairies & magical elf friends, he is stopped in his tracks!
The incredible magic of our special Christmas friends finally won the Grinch over with the spirit of Christmas and all of its festivities. The Christmas fairies and magical elf friends to the rescue again, saving Christmas and teaching the Grinch about its true meaning. In the true style of Dr Seuss, this show is a reflection of the original story with a new modern flavor. With a joyful cast, lots of singing and dancing, this show promises to excite and enthuse your Christmas event.
